“A boca de fosc a l’olivar” is a mural created by José Manuel P. Ferrández. It measures six meters wide by two meters high and occupies the central and upper part of the new space “Espai Argudell” of the Terra y ànima foundation, whose purpose is to revalue and spread knowledge about the native variety of Argudell olive trees. Among its different missions is collaborating with local artists, starting from a shared respect for the land.
Inside the space, located in plaza Carles Cusí in St Climent sescebes and inaugurated on March 22, visitors can buy high-quality olive oil and other artisanal products made from the fruit of these old trees. In addition, there is a room with a video that highlights the importance of keeping the focus on soils, biodiversity, and the preservation of microbial life (crucial in climate balance, due to its ability to retain carbon in subsurface layers).
